Tripadvisor-logoAfter attending the Plymouth Tourism Conference I left with a range of top tips from Visit England reguarding Hotel & Guesthouses. Like did you know your ranking on TripAdvisor is related to a number of factors? Including how complete your tripadvisor profile is, the size of your business and related number of reviews and most importantly your responses to the reviews…

You are probably aware you can respond to negative reviews, but have you thought about replying to positive ones too?

Pam Foden, head of industry development – Visit England highlighted Plymouth Museum as a good example of a group leaving good replies to visitor reviews. Take a look here… Note the responses to both positive and negative reviews are unique (no copy and pasting a standard message) this can help with not only your Tripadvisor rankings, but also makes your customer/visitor feel valued, potentially encouraging them to return on their next visit to the area.

If you would like to improve your rankings and increase your exposure online to help people find your business get in touch with Scott Grenney of Eddystone Media.
